What is Nota?
Nota is a cloud based web application designed specifically for Occupational Therapists. It is the complete solution for centralizing all of your treatment notes and patient communications.
How does it work?
Nota is simple and easy to use. We host your information in the cloud, so all you need is a web browser to access it from any device. Once you’ve signed in via the Login page, you are off and running.
Is my data secure?
Yes, your data lives in our cloud servers, which have 24/7 physical and biometric protections, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and an array of other technological safeguards. We designed privacy and HIPAA compliance into our architecture for patient information, both in transit and at rest, so you take the notes and we keep you compliant and secure.
How can I access Nota?
Your data is available to you at any time during the day or night, from any device. We’ve developed Nota using responsive design which means you can access your data from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. The application will recognize your device and present the data in a clean and simple format for your enjoyment.
What does the subscription price cover? Will I be charged more in the future for new or added functionality?
Very good questions. First, the subscription price covers all the functionality that we offer in the system, premium support, initial training (no set up fee), unlimited email support, and unlimited storage. Second, we have a team that will continue to add functionality to the system over time as we grow and learn more from all of you about the changing needs for occupational therapists. These updates will come as product releases that will be applied to the system over time. Again, no additional costs for these enhancements. It’s simply how we operate.
What happens if I don’t see functionality in the system that would be really valuable to our business?
Please don’t be shy, we need to hear feedback from anyone using Nota. We understand your needs as therapist will change over time. What can I store in the Attachments?
We developed the Attachment storage to help you centralize scanned or electronic documents for the patient. This will allow you to organize and access these documents quickly and easily in the patient record at any time, from any device. We also allow therapist to take photos and video directly from their phone from treatment sessions to include in the attachment storage. What a great way to document progress and share updates with your clients and families!
Will Nota work on my Mac?
Yes, Nota will work on any computer with any modern browser. On a Mac, you can use the latest Safari version or any of the other popular browsers (i.e. Chrome, Firefox).
