In building Nota, we met with many practices to discuss their documentation needs.  We learned very quickly that each practice documents their sessions a little differently, however, one thing remained the same - the need for an efficient note taking tool was critical to help therapist make the most of their limited time.

Here are the steps you can take to configure the treatment note to meet the specific needs of your practice.

As a Admin,  go to the Settings page and select Configure Treatment notes.

Here, you'll find 10 sections that can be included in the treatment note.  You'll have the ability to show or hide fields, re-label headings, and enter default values.  Note:  the Goal Areas, Select Objectives, Procedure Codes, and Home Program field labels are not editable as these fields have specific functionality associated with them.

Let's take a look at the example below.

In this example, we've configured the headings and included a default value for the Plan to be "Continue treatment 2 times per week for 6 weeks." This text will be included in every note as the default value, but it can be updated by the therapist if needed.
