For practices which have more than one specialty working with clients, each therapist can be assigned a specialty. Nota has three default specialties built into the platform and four custom specialties, which each practice may create as needed.
Built-in specialrties
1. Occupational therapist - OT
2. Speech language pathologist - SLP
3. Physical therapist - PT
To assign a specialty to a therapist, navigate to Settings
Once inside settings, navigate to Team Administration, and select the member you would like to edit. From this team member's profile, select the specialty you prefer from the drop-down menu and then save your selection.
Once a therapist's specialty is saved, this person will see the format which has been created for treatment notes, goal areas, and codes as customized by the practice. Please see the following articles for a reference on customizing:
